ZORZA: Building a world from inside the screen

There is a specific kind of career that only the internet can produce. It does not follow a local scene or a major label's timeline. It grows in comment sections, Twitch chats, and SoundCloud reposts, accumulating a following that exists mostly in notifications until the day it starts filling venues. Zorza has been building that kind of career for years. Her debut album, ‘internet niche fame’, out today, names it for exactly what it is.

The Toronto DJ and producer came up entirely online, developing a sound in the precise overlap of early 2000s trance, hard dance, and hyperpop that exists somewhere between rave nostalgia and current internet culture. Her 2024 Hyperdream EP made it concrete. "This EP was inspired by my love for early 2000s trance, hard dance and modern hyperpop," she said at the time. "I wanted to create a project that embodied my favourite aspects of these genres and through this I really feel I've found my authentic sound. Making this project allowed me to experiment with dissolving boundaries and create my own world."

That sound did not stay on a screen. By 2025, Zorza released SPF INFINI: ZORZA, a 55-minute audiovisual project, and turned her Twitch and SoundCloud roots into an international live career. Dour Festival, Boiler Room x Teletech in Manchester, Verknipt Festival, and WECANDANCE followed. She shared stages with VTSS, Panteros666, and Partiboi69, building a reputation for sets that refuse to pick sides between club physicality and hyperpop euphoria. The audiences across Europe found the intersection she had spent years constructing.

In May 2026, she launched 4ever Music, an independent label distributed through Universal Music Group Canada, built to give hard dance, hyper techno, and trance a home outside the traditional electronic infrastructure. The label opened with BADBOYS, a collaboration with Belgian duo Promis3, written during their first in-person studio session in Belgium after years working together online. That chemistry translated. ONEBODY followed in June, a softer and more searching record that explores what it means to stay close to someone across physical distance, and what lingers after a relationship ends but never fully leaves your camera roll or your algorithm.

The debut album internet niche fame, out now via 4ever Music, draws all of it together. Ten tracks built on the premise that the internet does not simply distribute music. It shapes the artists who grow up inside it. The record maps the gap between who you are in real life and who you construct for the screen, and what it costs when those two versions of yourself start to blur. HAUNTED opens the album era as a direct examination of that split. MOTION SICK arrives closer to the bone.

The single confronts what touring actually looks and feels like beyond the performance itself.

"I'm doing what I love and playing my music to people but there is a side of loneliness that hit me really hard. Writing this song really helped me understand my feelings at the time."

from a straightforward arrival statement. This is not an album about aspiration. It is about what you find on the other side of it, the Amnesia Ibiza date, the IleSoniq headline, the label that now carries other artists, and the quiet recognition that the online communities that built all of this are still there, still watching, and still the real foundation.

Zorza has not left that world behind. She just made an album about living inside it.
