Sónar 2025 blends more music, technology and innovation than ever before in Barcelona
Barcelona is once again set to transform into the global capital of electronic music and digital creativity with the return of Sónar Festival from June 10–15. Now in its 32nd edition, Sónar 2025 offers an expansive program of nearly 200 events across 10 stages at Sónar by Day, Sónar by Night and Sónar+D—the platform for creative technologies.
This year’s lineup features exclusive premieres, co-productions and debut performances including Nathy Peluso’s new show “Grasa”, and a special DJ set, Club Grasa. Other anticipated acts include Peggy Gou, Eric Prydz, BICEP, Alva Noto & Fennesz and Raül Refree + Niño de Elche. Back-to-back sets—like Skrillex b2b Blawan and Armin van Buuren b2b Indira Paganotto—all come on reimagined stages developed with Boiler Room and Printworks London.
Sónar 2025 also highlights local and Latin American talent, including Maria Arnal’s AI-powered show “Ama”, and vibrant sets from artists like Six Sex, Safety Trance, and Dengue Dengue Dengue.
Meanwhile, Sónar+D 2025 delves into AI, quantum computing, and speculative futures, with interactive installations, talks, and workshops. The program is organised around three main themes: AI + Creativity, Imagining the Future of Creative Industries and Worlds to Come, featuring voices from leading institutions and projects like Quantum Live Music Coding and the immersive audiovisual piece Lux Mundi.
With collaborative programming across the city, including performances at Palau de la Música and Fundació Joan Miró, and exhibitions like The Art of Navigating, Sónar Week cements Barcelona's status as a hub for cutting-edge culture.
