Shimza announces lineups for ‘Shimza & Co’ residency at Chinois Ibiza

Ibiza’s Chinois has announced a new weekly residency, ‘Shimza & Co,’ featuring performances by South African electronic artist Shimza and a lineup of top guest DJs. It takes place every Friday from 8 August to 29 August.

Shimza is a leading voice in Afro and tech house and he will host four consecutive Fridays of performances in the intimate setting of Chinois in Ibiza’s Marina. The lineup includes a range of international artists such as Andrea Oliva, Kitty Amor, Tripolism, Dennis Ferrer, Arodes, Antdot, Mila Rose, Le Yora, Zakes Bantwini, Stofella, &Friends and Darque.

This residency marks Shimza’s return to Ibiza, where he previously launched his Kunye brand—a platform known for showcasing African electronic music through events and collaborations worldwide. His recent work includes collaborations with artists like Alex Wann and Elderbrook, as well as releases on major labels such as Warner and Defected.
