Lucky Done Gone returns to DGTL Records with his new two-track EP, ‘The Look’.
The emerging Dutch DJ/producer drops a pair of high-energy and absorbing cuts on the label on 6th December 2024.
After a busy year touring Asia and delivering striking sets across the summer at festivals like Lowlands, ZeeZout, and Down The Rabbit Hole, Amsterdam’s Lucky Done Gone returns to DGTL Records with ‘The Look’. The two-track EP marks his second release with the essential label following his 2022 debut as part of DGTL’s ‘5 YRS of DGTL Records’ compilation. Continuing to carve a name for himself as one of the Netherlands’ exciting up-and-comers, with further material on Paradiso Vinyl Club and a growing reputation for electrifying dancefloors, ‘The Look’ reinforces his position as a bubbling name within the Netherlands’ thriving electronic music scene.
Opening the EP is ‘Fashion Nova’, a track that encapsulates Lucky Done Gone’s ability to blend fresh melodic sounds steeped with nostalgic influences. Speaking on the track, he shares, “Fashion Nova brings a vibrant fusion of chords and high-energy beats, creating a euphoric atmosphere with captivating melodies. The track balances fresh and nostalgic rave sounds, all wrapped in a psychedelic, radical edge.”
On the flip side is ‘Energy’, a pulsating, dancefloor-focused track designed to ignite crowds with its driving rhythms and infectious intensity. The two tracks showcase the Dutch talent’s knack for creating dynamic productions that resonate deeply with listeners as he takes another step forward while showcasing his ever-evolving sound.
