KI/KI and Armin van Buuren set for monumental B2B at AMF
Amsterdam’s biggest night prepares an unprecedented clash of sounds at the Johan Cruijff ArenA

Amsterdam Music Festival is bringing back its II=I concept in spectacular fashion. On October 19, trance pioneer Armin van Buuren will go back-to-back with one of the underground’s most talked-about names, KI/KI, in front of 40,000 fans at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
It’s the first time the two share the stage since their surprise ADE set in 2023, and the pairing couldn’t be more symbolic. Van Buuren represents trance at its most global and enduring, while KI/KI has carved her own path as a fearless selector pushing new-wave trance and techno into today’s underground. Together, they promise a set that bridges generations, genres and scenes, all as part of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary celebrations.
The II=I series has a history of unexpected combinations, but this B2B feels especially charged: a moment where mainstream and underground meet on equal ground, and where AMF reaffirms its role as the defining event of ADE week.
