First look: FITZ Mallorca opens in former Tito's venue with PAWSA, Nic Fanciulli and Miguelle & Tons

FITZ Mallorca has opened its doors in Palma, launching with a sold-out 12-hour opening party headlined by PAWSA, Nic Fanciulli and Miguelle & Tons.

The new 1,300-capacity club occupies the historic waterfront site formerly home to Tito's and, more recently, Lío, reopening after an extensive redevelopment that aims to position the venue as a new destination for electronic music in the Balearics.

Opening on July 16, the inaugural event gave clubbers their first experience of the venue's newly installed d&b audiotechnik sound system, alongside panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Palma's waterfront, allowing the space to transition from daytime into late-night clubbing.

The address has a long history within Mallorca's nightlife, having previously welcomed figures including Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly, Ray Charles and Elizabeth Taylor during its decades as one of the island's best-known entertainment venues.

FITZ's programme will centre around its new 'House of Artists' residency concept, which is set to bring a series of international house and techno acts to Palma throughout the summer season.
