Dutch artist IMANU drops new brutalist-inspired Entangled EP on Zedd Dead's Deadbeats label

IMANU is set to release his new EP, Entangled, on May 2 via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label. The five-track release takes influence from brutalist aesthetics and combines industrial elements with melodic flair to explore the intersection of intensity and nuance in modern electronic music.

IMANU, formerly known as Signal, has made waves with his genre-blurring approach to production. He has headlined major festivals such as EDC Las Vegas and Bonnaroo and curates his own event series, De Verte, which has expanded from Amsterdam to London while also launching a sustainable fashion brand, 14SAINTDENIS.

With over 100 million career streams and collaborations with artists such as Noisia, Subtronics and Zeds Dead, IMANU continues to rise up through the scene and has already made his mark this year with his single 'HUSH' back in February.

This latest EP opens with 'Chaos On Fire' featuring Ephe and with atmospheric basslines and layered vocals. 'It Doesn’t Matter' features Emilia, a track rooted in stutter-house rhythms while 'HUSH' featuring Kroy presents a contrast between raw percussive elements and delicate vocal textures. 'All Too Late' featuring Rhode brings drum & bass energy with introspective undertones, while closing track 'Kintsugi' features Tasha Baxter and Flux Pavilion in a drum & bass collaboration with ethereal overtones.

The EP drops in early May, and in Autumn he will follow it up with a second EP that explores more light and vocal centric sounds.
