Claude VonStroke drops a new club weapon: “Bobblehead”

After closing out 2025 with a powerful string of headline shows, including CRSSD, Splash House, Club Space, and Outside Lands, Claude VonStroke returns to the studio with “Bobblehead”, a high-voltage club cut that captures his rawest instincts as a DJ and producer.

A return to the groove

Built around a low-slung bassline, playful percussion, and distorted vocal chops, “Bobblehead” finds Claude at his most direct and dancefloor-focused. It is the kind of record that locks you into motion from the first bar, designed for sweat, smiles, and that hypnotic pulse only he can deliver. With its stripped-back funk and elastic rhythm, the track serves as both a nod to his underground roots and a statement of intent for the next phase of his artistry.

This marks his first new release since “Metropolitan” and signals the beginning of a creative new chapter heading into 2026. Fans can expect more of the minimal funk, quirky swing, and unpredictable rhythms that have defined his recent evolution under the Life of Leisure ethos.

A legacy of originality

For more than two decades, Claude VonStroke has been one of the most distinctive voices in global electronic music. After selling his Dirtybird brand in 2022, he returned to the scene with a refreshed perspective: playing only where he wants and for those who truly understand his unmistakable sound. His current sets embrace what he calls “greasy, sexy, minimal tech-funk”, the kind of sound that has fueled thousands of unforgettable nights, friendships, and dancefloor memories around the world.

From boutique festivals and open-air BBQs to underground clubs and main stages, Claude has shaped the fabric of U.S. tech house while mentoring some of its biggest names, including Fisher, Eats Everything, and John Summit. Today, his focus is firmly on the independent, forward-thinking underground, guided by curiosity and creative freedom.

His fans love him for that same authenticity. They have seen the smile, felt the bass, and shared in the moments that remind everyone why dance music still matters.

With whispers of a new experimental label and an artist album slated for January 2026, Claude VonStroke’s next chapter promises to be as playful, unexpected, and genre-defying as ever.

“Bobblehead” is out now on all major platforms.
