BSH Brings Carl Cox to Croatia’s 2,000-Year-Old Cave Romane

Carl Cox will headline an open-air show promoted by BSH Events at Cave Romane, a former Roman quarry near Vinkuran in Croatia's Istrian peninsula, on 7th August 2026.

The venue, carved from limestone over centuries of excavation, sits outside the conventional architecture of clubs and festival sites. Its vertical rock walls and natural acoustics have made it an increasingly prominent location for large-scale electronic music events. BSH Events previously staged a sold-out Black Coffee performance at the nearby Pula Arena as part of the same regional programme.

Cox is one of the longest-standing figures in electronic music, known for technically precise sets spanning house, techno and acid. His career stretches from the UK rave scene of the late 1980s through to headline appearances at clubs and festivals worldwide.

Production for the August show is being developed in collaboration with Highscream, a creative production company who will work with the quarry's physical environment using laser mapping, immersive lighting and large-scale visual installations across the rock surfaces and open vertical spaces of the site.

The Cave Romane date follows earlier BSH Events shows this season including a Gates of Agartha collaboration in June and events with Amelie Lens and Black Coffee in July.
