EXIT and P+US announce new Starlight Festival near the Pyramids of Giza

Three-time European Best Major Festival winner EXIT Festival has announced the launch of Starlight Festival, a new multi-day electronic music event that will take place in Egypt from 8-11th October 2026. The festival is being developed in partnership with Venture Lifestyle and its electronic music platform, P+US, with more than five stages and zones, as well as a virtual reality installation first presented at Expo Dubai. The main festival programme will be held on 9th and 10th October, while opening and closing events are planned across various venues in Cairo.

The inaugural edition will feature performances from Charlotte de Witte, who is set to make her first appearance in Egypt, alongside Michael Bibi, Adriatique, Vintage Culture, Pete Tong, WhoMadeWho and Enrico Sangiuliano with more regional and international artists announced soon.

Starlight Festival will take place at a specially designated site near the Great Pyramids of Giza, with the ancient landmark serving as a backdrop to the event. Organisers have confirmed that the festival itself will not be staged directly at the pyramids, but at a location developed in accordance with the site's protected status and historical significance.

Venture Lifestyle is an Egypt-based entertainment and hospitality company that produces live events, nightlife concepts and cultural experiences across the Middle East. Through its P+US platform, the company has previously presented electronic music events at locations including the Giza Plateau.
