Australia Meets Amsterdam On Teletech With Jokesonyou & Dj Ip’S Debut Collaboration "Ottf"
Australian producer JOKESONYOU and Dutch artist DJ IP have joined forces on their brand-new single "OTTF," released on August 14th, 2026, via hard dance label Teletech. The record serves as a tribute to the energy and emotion of classic mid-2000s hardstyle, blending euphoric melodies, driving kicks, and bounce influences with modern production.
The release sees both producers stepping out of their usual creative territories: DJ IP operates primarily as a trance DJ, while JOKESONYOU is known for his bouncy crossover tracks between techno and house. "OTTF" represents a fresh and adventurous step for both artists into harder electronic sounds.
Built around a prominent vocal hook, "OTTF" features driving four-to-the-floor rhythms, rave-inspired synth lines, and soaring melodic leads. Tailored specifically for peak-time set moments, the track aligns with the current wave of neo rave, trance, and hard dance, securing early support from artists including VTSS, Marlon Hoffstadt, Pegassi, Ki/Ki, and Johannes Schuster.
The concept originated during a writing camp in Belgium, inspired by the resurgence of iconic hardstyle anthems like Showtek’s "FTS" on festival stages. The record is further elevated by contrasting vocal performances from Dutch vocalist Sebastiaan van den Berg and Australian vocalist Coco Bevan, combining punchy percussion, rolling low-end pressure, and expanding melodic layers.

We both have very similar sound tastes when it comes to performing DJ sets. In this track selection we start with some nice driving tracks that have lyrics to grab the attention of the audience straight away. The middle section we chose some rolling baseline tunes with some acid lines and some old school synths for peak time energy. The final few tacks we have selected are going down more of the melodic/ euphoric trance route. These kind of tracks always work well towards the end of a set to give the feeling of maximum euphoria before ending the set
