Armin van Buuren and Indira Paganotto come together for new single 'Dragon' ahead of Sónar Festival back-to-back debut

Trance legend Armin van Buuren and techno trailblazer Indira Paganotto have released their first collaborative single 'Dragon'' on Armada Music. The release drops just ahead of their debut back-to-back performance at Sónar Festival in Barcelona, which will be livestreamed by ARTE Concert.

'Dragon' is the final track to be previewed from van Buuren’s forthcoming ninth studio album, Breathe, due out on 27 June and it's a mix of trance, psytrance and techno that reflects both artist's signature styles.

Armin van Buuren says: “Indira has been at the forefront of the psytrance and techno scene for several years now and I’m amazed at how quickly she took it by storm. She reached out to me a while back, and blending our styles seemed to make a lot of sense. So as you can expect, ‘Dragon’ is one for the mainstages!”

Indira Paganotto adds: “For me, ‘Dragon’ is the power of everything! It’s nature, humanity, art, and spirituality. It's the result of two forces with the same mission, to reach the hearts and minds of our warriors with our music. So excited for this release to finally come out, we have both been playing this for a while and it's magical.”

Van Buuren's Breathe is a two-part album featuring 51 tracks and collaborations with artists such as Pendulum & Rob Swire, Moby, Bon Jovi and more.

The artists’ Sónar Festival set will be available for on-demand viewing following its livestream, and follows their first back-to-back appearance during an A State of Trance special at ADE 2024.
