Troyboi & Morray connect on summer anthem "la la land"

UK producer TroyBoi has released his latest single, "La La Land," featuring North Carolina rapper and singer Morray. Out now as of July 31 across all streaming platforms, the track serves as an official preview for TroyBoi’s upcoming FT EP, scheduled for release on Friday, August 21.

Following recent releases alongside Shiwa ("Jungle"), Toxic Rob ("Way Better"), and Daya ("HUSH"), "La La Land" fuses TroyBoi’s signature production aesthetic with Morray’s soulful vocal hooks. Driven by a syncopated, wonky melody and heavy low-end bounce, the record marks a direct throwback to TroyBoi's iconic trap sound, crafted specifically for peak-time festival sets and summer rotations.

"I’ve been a fan of Morray for a while," says TroyBoi. "I sent him the instrumental and he immediately connected with it. We both saw it as an opportunity to step into each other’s worlds. That’s exactly what this EP is about—bringing together different artists, influences, and styles, while keeping my production as the common thread that ties everything together."

"La La Land" anchors the rollout for the FT EP, a collaborative collection highlighting TroyBoi's crossover versatility across hip-hop, electronic, and R&B soundscapes. The full project drops August 21, accompanied by his intimate Hear
