Hi Pablo, we would love to hear all about your musical background. How did you first become interested in performing and producing music, and what inspired you to pursue it as a career?

Music has always been a significant part of my life. At a young age, I was drawn to its power to evoke emotions and create connections. Growing up in a diverse cultural environment, I was exposed to a wide range of musical genres and styles. This exposure ignited my passion for music and sparked my interest in exploring different sounds and rhythms.

As I delved deeper into the world of music, I found myself increasingly drawn to the creative process of producing and performing. The ability to mold sounds and craft unique compositions fascinated me. Inspired by the music that resonated with my soul, I embarked on a journey to bring my own artistic vision to life.

Which artists influenced you the most growing up?

I’ve been fortunate to have a wide range of musical influences that have shaped my artistic journey. Artists such as Pharrell Williams, whose boundary-pushing productions and infectious melodies inspired me to experiment with different sounds. Additionally, the versatility and innovation of artist/producers like Kanye West, Dr Dre, and Timbaland have had a profound impact on my musical development. These artists, among others, showed me the power of collaboration and the beauty of fusing diverse styles and cultures.

How often do you listen to music in your personal life? And what do you listen to?

As a musician, music is an integral part of my daily life. I listen to music regularly, drawing inspiration from various genres and styles. My taste is eclectic, ranging from urban and electronic music to world music and beyond. This diverse range allows me to explore different sonic landscapes and stay connected to the ever-evolving musical landscape.

What has been your favorite place to perform so far and why?

I have had the privilege to visit and perform in numerous incredible venues and cities, each offering its unique energy and atmosphere. However, one particular performance stands out in my memory: my show in Barcelona. The crowd's energy was electric, and the connection between the audience and myself was palpable. It was a magical experience, and the energy in the crowd fueled my performance, making it a truly unforgettable moment.

How did you develop your style, and how would you describe it yourself?

My style is an amalgamation of my diverse cultural background and the various musical influences that have shaped my artistic journey. It is a fusion of urban and electronic elements, with a strong emphasis on creating tracks that transcend genre boundaries. By infusing different sounds and rhythms, I aim to create a unique sonic experience that resonates with listeners on a deep level. I would describe my style as a dynamic blend of cultural diversity, infectious melodies, and innovative production techniques.

What kind of releases can we expect from you later in the year?

In the coming months, I have some exciting releases planned. Without revealing too much, you can expect a combination of solo projects and collaborative tracks with both established and emerging artists. These releases will showcase my versatility as a musician and my commitment to pushing creative boundaries. Stay tuned for a diverse range of musical experiences that will captivate audiences and continue to bridge gaps between genres and cultures.

As a producer, where do you start, and what is your creative process when you are about to develop a new idea?

When embarking on a new production, I usually start by immersing myself in the creative process. I find inspiration in various forms, such as exploring different musical genres, experimenting with new sounds and textures, or drawing from personal experiences. Once I have a spark of an idea, I delve into the production process, carefully crafting the foundation of the track, and gradually building layers of melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. Collaboration is also a vital part of my creative process, as it allows me to draw upon the unique talents and perspectives of fellow artists. Through this collaborative effort, I aim to create something truly exceptional that showcases the best of each artist involved.

Who are some new talented names on the scene from your perspective? Who do you fully support on their journey as artists?

The electronic music scene is continuously evolving, with new talents emerging and pushing creative boundaries. One artist who has caught my attention is Skepta and Jammer, they are legendary in the UK and international rap-scene, and have now made their way into electronic music. Their innovative approach to production and their ability to infuse diverse influences into their music is truly inspiring. I believe they have tremendous potential to make a significant impact on the global music scene. Additionally, there are so many talents around the world, that are really making moves and on an artistic journey. Some names on the top of my head are Amaarae, Ayrra Star, Tokischa, Quevedo, JC Reyes. Their dedication, unique sound, and unwavering passion for music make them a force to be reckoned with.

What is up next for you? What can we expect from you, and anything special we should keep an eye out for?

The future holds exciting opportunities for me as an artist. In addition to my ongoing collaborations and solo projects, I am actively working on expanding my international network and fostering new creative partnerships. I firmly believe in the power of music to bridge gaps and create connections, and I am dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity in the industry.
