Spacer Woman drops intriguing new EP on Tjade's Agrio Tracks

Berlin-based DJ and producer Spacer Woman is back with a new EP that blends traditional elements from her Turkish heritage with contemporary innovation and it arrives on May 1 2025.
Spacer Woman is a fast rising star who mixes up modern prog-house with her personal cultural roots. She always tells stories with her sounds and once this EP drops, she will play at Tjade’s Agrio Club event on June 14 at Lofi’s Courtyard and Club.
There is a summery vibe to these tunes, with 'Yakamoz' taking its name from a Turkish expression that describes moonlight shimmering on the sea. It features playful vocals from Spacer Woman and Champagne Soul with magic melodies and percussion inspired by Spacer Woman’s Turkish heritage. 'Moonlight Dance' is a quick and slick club sound with haunting melodies, euphoric synths and more traditional motifs that make it both emotionally and physically impactful.
Said Spacer Woman in a recent interview, “This EP is super personal. It even includes one of the first tracks I ever produced, "Moonlight Dance." It's pure identity, no holding back, and dives into my Turkish personality. I love Middle Eastern music, the melodies, scales, instruments and percussions like the darbuka and oud. I'm even using my own Turkish vocals on one track, and Champagne Soul's vocals bring the euphoria. Turkish oldies electronic music is a major inspiration, and this EP is 100% dancefloor-ready while showcasing the beauty of Middle Eastern sounds.”
'Yakamoz' and 'Moonlight Dance' have been getting plenty of road test recently and proved huge at the recent DGTL Festival in Amsterdam. You can listen to them here.
