Skepta and Kerri Chandler to play new London Venue 77’s opening weekend

77 is set to open beneath The BoTree in Marylebone on 26–27 September and the space, designed for immersive sound and live performance, will host its launch weekend with headline sets from Kerri Chandler and Skepta.

According to the venue’s organisers, 77 has been built to provide high-quality sound and an adaptable setting for events including club nights, album launches, fashion shows and brand activations.

The site is soundproofed and acoustically treated, with a design focused on creating a close connection between artists and audiences.

The team behind the venue includes Jonathan Wade, formerly of Tao Group; Eniz Hilmi, who has worked with Rinse FM and Mas Tiempo; and Sebastian Banovic, whose hospitality background includes KOKO, The Roof Gardens and Tramp.

On Friday, 26 September, American DJ and producer Kerri Chandler will perform, with support from Puerto Rico-born DJ Daisybelle. The following evening, Saturday, 27 September, Skepta will appear with a DJ set, joined by London-based artists Meeshy and OSSIE.
