Sara Landry and Alt8 reunite on latest single, “hands up”
Hard dance’s high priestess, Sara Landry , has returned with her latest single, “Hands Up.” Released today via her own HEKATE imprint, the high-powered track marks a brand-new collaboration with close friend, label favorite, and Irish producer Alt8. Following the massive success of their previous joint efforts like “Heaven,” “Havana Bounce,” and “Funk Em,” the duo has reunited to kick off the summer with a full-throttle, bouncy weapon designed to capture the essence of Euro summer after dark.
“Hands Up” strikes a perfect balance between a relentless driving kick and a playful, carefree bounce, making the hard dance space feel alive rather than mechanical. While the track carries the raw depth required for underground warehouses, its magnetic tension is equally suited for major festival stages. Both artists noted that the collaboration represents a natural, unforced evolution of their combined sounds, born simply out of two friends vibing in the studio without a rigid plan.
The release lands during a meteoric year for Landry, who continues to push subversive electronic sub-genres boldly into the global mainstream. Backed by a cult-like following and recent milestone appearances, including a historic Ultra Miami headlining b2b with Amelie Lens and a commanding Coachella Quasar stage takeover under her BLOOD OATH alias, this new single sets the stage for a summer festival season that will lead into her highly anticipated sophomore studio album
