A longtime film enthusiast, Rossi. conceptualized the track after watching the 1990 psychological thriller Misery. Drawing directly from the movie's imagery and plot, he crafted a lyrical theme centered on being "trapped in misery." This darker cinematic reference point influenced the record's sound design, using a menacing bass tone to flip the emotional balance compared to his signature house outputs while maintaining his core groove-led identity.
