ØTTA shares new single GATA FINA

ØTTA has released GATA FINA, a new collaboration with Argentine artist FIAH, marking the latest preview of her debut album PELE DE MAR. The single arrives via her own label and party platform, HOTTIES, ahead of the album’s release on September 18.

Built around fast-paced percussion and driving techno rhythms, GATA FINA pairs ØTTA’s high-BPM production with FIAH’s commanding vocal delivery. The Mendoza-born artist brings a playful, confrontational energy to the track, turning repeated hooks into a central part of its momentum while matching the physical intensity of the production.

The collaboration reflects a shared approach to club music that places performance, identity and self-expression at its centre. Drawing on electronic music, queer culture and Latin American pop, FIAH’s theatrical vocal style sits comfortably within ØTTA’s uncompromising sound, creating a track designed as much for the dancefloor as for moments of release.

GATA FINA follows the album’s lead single, PULSO., and offers another glimpse into PELE DE MAR, an eight-track debut shaped by the places and communities that have informed ØTTA’s journey as a producer and DJ. Moving between Lisbon, London and South America, the record explores personal history through club music, weaving together hard-edged electronic production with influences rooted across different cultures.

The album also brings together a new wave of South American collaborators. Alongside FIAH, Brazilian artists Lua de Santana and Bibi Babydoll appear on the record, extending its dialogue between contemporary electronic music, Brazilian funk and Latin American club culture.

Before emerging through her Plus One EP in 2020, ØTTA spent years studying art and architecture while playing in an orchestra, experiences that continue to inform the structured, rhythm-led approach found in her productions. Since then, she has built an international profile through performances including her Boiler Room set in Manchester, while developing HOTTIES as both a record label and event series centred on community and creative freedom.

Rather than presenting a collection of club tracks, PELE DE MAR unfolds as a personal statement, documenting the experiences, relationships and places that have shaped ØTTA over more than a decade. Throughout the album, the dancefloor becomes less a destination than a thread connecting different chapters of her life.

GATA FINA is out now via HOTTIES, with PELE DE MAR set for release on September 18.
