NYC Street Artist Alec Monopoly Announces First London DJ Residency at 77, Marylebone

Alec Monopoly in 77

New York street artist and pop-culture figure Alec Monopoly will debut his first ever London DJ residency this autumn at 77, the new music and culture space located beneath The BoTree Hotel in Marylebone. The residency launches on 30 October 2025 and continues across 6, 13, and 20 November, marking Monopoly’s latest creative venture into the intersection of art, music, and immersive experience. Tickets for all four dates are now available via Resident Advisor.

Alongside his DJ performances, a custom art installation by Monopoly will be unveiled inside the venue, featuring live activations designed to extend his distinctive visual world into a three-dimensional setting.

Alec Monopoly first rose to prominence through his reinterpretation of the Monopoly mascot, “Rich Uncle Pennybags,” transforming the character into a recurring motif for social commentary on capitalism, consumerism, and celebrity culture. His work has since appeared on large-scale murals, exhibitions, and collaborations, including a recent project with Jake Paul for his high-profile boxing match against Mike Tyson.

Monopoly will bring a new creative dimension to 77’s evolving programme with high-impact DJ sets that blend tech house, groove-driven rhythms and signature edits.

Since opening its doors in September, 77 has quickly established itself as one of London’s most forward-looking music venues. With a capacity of 550, it features an L-Acoustics sound system with KS21 subwoofers, alongside Robe lighting, lasers, CO₂ effects, and LED screens designed for total sensory immersion. Its Autumn/Winter season has already featured performances from artists such as David Morales, Deep Dish, Adana Twins, Patrice Bäumel, Fiona Kraft, and Olive F.

Tickets are available via Resident Advisor.
