Notre Dame unveils Candy Cloud single and anime-inspired music video via PARANORMAL, announcing immersive Parisian pop-up experience
French producer Notre Dame steps into a new creative chapter with Candy Cloud, his latest single on PARANORMAL, arriving on November 21 and presented alongside a full-length anime-style music video crafted by acclaimed French animation duo Le Megapack. More than a release, Candy Cloud introduces a world where sound, illustration, and imagination move as one. To mark the moment, Notre Dame will open the doors to a two-day gallery pop-up in Paris on November 22 and 23, transforming his multimedia vision into a physical universe shaped by music, custom visuals, and childhood reverie.
The producer describes Candy Cloud as a world in itself, not simply a track. This world unfolds through multiple forms. A new manga-inspired video. A limited edition 12 inch vinyl. A sculpted art figure of the video’s main character. The first official showcase of PARANORMAL at Gate Club. And now a gallery experience in Paris designed to merge illusion, nostalgia, and belief into one narrative arc. For Notre Dame, the exhibition completes the circle, offering a rare moment where music, art, and personal mythology align.
PARANORMAL began less than a year ago inside a small Parisian apartment, driven by friendship, instinct, and a shared desire to create freely. In a short span the imprint has become a steady voice within Europe’s electronic avant garde, carrying releases like Do For Your Love, Recollection, and Haunted Nights, while receiving support from Solomun, Adriatique, and the Keinemusik collective. Candy Cloud marks a pivotal step for the label. It crystallizes the identity that Notre Dame envisioned from the beginning. A place where electronic music exists alongside design, animation, and visual storytelling.
The upcoming pop-up will extend this vision into a multi-room installation that brings the Candy Cloud universe to life. Visitors will find a life-size recreation of the video’s protagonist, early production sketches displayed as art prints, exclusive merchandise, and limited vinyl editions. A special collector’s figure of the main character, complete with premium packaging and a custom USB loaded with unreleased tracks, offers fans a piece of Notre Dame’s world to take home. DJ sets and live moments will weave it all together, turning the gallery into a living portal between music culture and illustrated fantasy.
Candy Cloud closes a standout year for Notre Dame. His collaborative remake of Give It To Me with Adriatique, Nelly Furtado, and Timbaland became a defining sound of the summer. His return to Solomun’s Diynamic family followed soon after, along with a feature on Anyma’s Quantum Echoes compilation. He delivered remixes for Röyksopp, Lenny Kravitz, Blondish, and Bedouin, and completed a sold-out debut tour across the United States. Releases on Kitsuné, Armada, and Insomniac further expanded his reach, positioning him as one of the most forward-thinking French artists in contemporary electronic music.
What began as a leap of faith, leaving a corporate job three years ago, has grown into a fully realized artistic universe. Candy Cloud stands at the heart of that universe, connecting anime fantasy, Parisian culture, and club energy through a single story told across multiple forms.
Notre Dame’s next months will bring new releases on PARANORMAL, a remix for WhoMadeWho and Tripolism, a reinterpretation for Tiga and The Martinez Brothers, and a collaboration with Bob Moses, continuing the momentum of a year defined by evolution, ambition, and creative freedom.
