Nathan Alexander Makes His Nsda Debut With ‘The Third Man’
Nathan Alexander is making his debut on Anfisa Letyago’s NSDA imprint with The Third Man, a new three-track EP backed by a remix from the label founder herself. Landing September 25, the release introduces Alexander to the label through a sound built around tension, hypnotic movement and stripped-back club pressure.
Rather than chasing oversized moments, The Third Man works through repetition and atmosphere. Sharp percussion and driving rhythms sit underneath shifting textures across the record, keeping each track firmly connected to the dancefloor while allowing stranger, more disorienting details to emerge around them.
‘In Bloom’ opens the EP by establishing that hypnotic framework, before ‘Question’ pushes further into Alexander’s tightly controlled rhythmic world. Both tracks operate through subtle changes and persistent movement, setting up the title track as the point where the different elements of the release come together.
On ‘The Third Man’, raw rhythmic components meet more intricate layers of sound, creating a track that feels physical without sacrificing the atmospheric tension running throughout the project. The result sits comfortably within NSDA’s increasingly defined sonic space while introducing Alexander’s own perspective into the label catalogue.
Anfisa Letyago takes control for the final track, delivering her own remix of ‘The Third Man’. Her version retains the tension of Alexander’s original but pulls it into deeper, later-night territory, stripping and reshaping its elements around a rawer hypnotic groove.
The remix also makes Alexander’s first appearance on NSDA a direct exchange with the artist behind the label. Founded and headed by Letyago, the imprint has developed around a forward-facing approach to techno and electronic music, making The Third Man another addition to its evolving catalogue.
