Mees Salomé has released the final piece of his latest EP rollout, with ‘Nova’ landing via Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint. The track, a collaboration with Thysma, completes a three-track project that has unfolded across recent months via singles ‘Let It Be (Real)’ featuring Chris Howard and ‘Mindstate’ with Robby East.
Across the EP, Salomé continues to refine his blend of emotive melodic house and club-focused songwriting, a sound that sits comfortably between late-night introspection and main room momentum. The Dutch producer has steadily developed this identity through releases on This Never Happened, Armada and Colorize, as well as remixes for artists including Joris Voorn, Tinlicker and Röyksopp, with growing recognition across the wider melodic scene.
‘Mindstate’, his collaboration with Robby East, shifts into more driving territory. Built on rolling rhythms and gradually expanding synth layers, it leans into a more hypnotic structure, designed for long transitions and extended club moments.
The final track, ‘Nova’, brings the project to a close on a widescreen note. Working with Thysma, Salomé stretches into more expansive melodic space, with evolving synth patterns and a slow, euphoric build that feels both restrained and cinematic in its delivery.
