Medaina Festival unveils line up for first edition in Jordan's Petra and Wadi Rum

Medaina Festival is a brand new multi-day event that promises a mix of "music, art, gastronomy, culture and sustainability" in the ancient city of Petra and the nearby Wadi Rum valley. It runs from May 21 to 26, 2025 and the likes of Ame, Aline Umber, Bedouin, Ben Sterling, HVOB, Jimi Jules, Mind Against, Patrice Bäumel, Rolbac, Sonja Moonear and more will all play the first edition.

Curated by experienced event organisers Tithorea, Medaina Festival plays out in two of Jordan's most iconic locations - the UNESCO-listed city of Petra and the expansive desert of Wadi Rum. T

The festival aims to integrate contemporary art and music with Jordan’s historic scenery to make an immersive experience in collaboration with the local tourist board and relevant cultural institutions to ensure the event aligns with vital preservation efforts.

Co-Founder Shahin Mani explains, “After four years of deep dreaming and careful planning, we are finally here. The time has come for us to launch Mediana at the absolutely magical sites of Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan while being completely considerate of our local community.
