M-High announces ‘dark web pinger’ on life and death
M-High is moving fast right now. He’s part of the new wave of Dutch producers pushing groove-led house, and his tracks have been landing consistently across clubs, charts and radio.
On April 10, he releases ‘Dark Web Pinger’, a four-track EP on DJ Tennis’s Life and Death. The first single, “Taking Time,” drops on March 20 and sets the tone for the project. Tight drums, clear groove, and a strong focus on functionality. It’s built for the floor.
What sets M-High apart is how he approaches sampling. There’s actual experimentation behind it. Recently, he physically cut and reassembled vinyl records to create a patchwork disc, then used that as source material. That process feeds directly into the sound. It feels raw and intentional.
He’s also working as A&R at PIV, one of Amsterdam’s most trusted house labels. That role keeps him close to what’s working in real time. You can hear that awareness in his productions. They’re precise, but never overworked.
Support has been steady. Chris Stussy, Marlon Hoffstadt and KETTAMA have all been playing his tracks, while BBC Radio 1 continues to back his releases. His catalog across PIV, !K7 and Moxy has already made a mark on Beatport.
On the touring side, he’s fully active. Dates across Europe and North America are already underway, with a run of Ibiza shows confirmed for the summer, including DC-10 and UNVRS.
‘Dark Web Pinger’ lands at a point where M-High is already locked into the circuit. This release just pushes that position further.
