LOVEFOXY Releases ‘Lord Juice’ Remix EP Featuring Detroit in Effect, THELMA and DJ Love

LOVEFOXY expands her breakout Lord Juice EP with a new remix package that brings together Detroit legend D.I.E. (Detroit in Effect), rising Spanish talent THELMA and London techno artist DJ Love. The EP is out now on WHP Records. Stream it today.

Only two EPs into her production journey, LOVEFOXY is already carving out a bold identity. Rooted in her long-time admiration for Robert Hood and her current fixation on Jersey Club, the original Lord Juice EP delivered four tracks that confirmed her as one of clubland’s most captivating new artists and a producer with an instinct for pure dancefloor joy. Logic1000 put it simply when highlighting the release during her DJ Mag Selections: “It’s such a fun body of work. Her drum programming alongside the vocal sampling is a perfect 10 in my opinion. She’s so extra and I love it.”

Based in Berlin, LOVEFOXY approaches her productions as characters with their own personalities and thrives on the creative energy of remixes. Each EP invites a mix of established pioneers and fresh innovators to reinterpret her work. Her debut Burning Down the Sluthouse was followed by a remix package featuring MALUGI, Ian Pooley and Nigerian-Italian newcomer Evissimax. Lord Juice – The Remixes continues that technicolour spirit.

THELMA adds her rolling, melodic touch to Just Not Cute. DJ Love injects raw power into Lord Juice. Detroit in Effect transforms On Da Table into a futuristic electro workout.

“I absolutely love getting remix packages done and including different sounds and ideas to my EP, especially from these three artists who have such unique styles as producers.”

Detroit in Effect:

“I have always been inspired by Detroit In Effect’s ghettotech, 808 and sassy punchline sound and thought that ‘On Da Table’s’ message would work perfect for it. Maaco took this to a next level, simple yet powerful and very Detroit.”

DJ Love:

“DJ Love’s productions are just flawless, there is not much more to say. His tracks are always a little secret weapon of mine, they’re punches of joy and so so energetic. Him remixing Lord Juice and giving it this gritty sound without losing any of its soulfulness has worked out perfectly. It’s become this rolling, club-ready tool that’s kept its OG identity.”

“I’ve known and followed Thelma since a minute now and to see how she’s developing her sound and playing huge venues over time is so deserved.
