Laidback Luke and Linney release new single Gasoline

Laidback Luke has teamed up with electronic vocalist and songwriter Linney for a new single, Gasoline, on Dim Mak. The bass house track marks the latest in a string of genre-blending releases from the long-time producer and DJ.
Laidback Luke has been a prominent figure in electronic music for over two decades, known for his early influence on the Dutch electro and bloghouse scenes. Now signed to Dim Mak, he is embracing a renewed sound that blends his roots with high-energy, modern production.
Linney is an award-winning singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer with over 99 million Spotify streams. Recognised as Breakout Female Vocalist at the EDM Awards and a member of EDM.com’s Class of 2025, she has collaborated with major artists including Nicky Romero and Tritonal.

Says Linney, “I can withstand the heat because I am the heat. I am the flame. I am the fire. Pressure makes diamonds & it’s dangerous to test me. So go ahead and hit me with your best shot.”
Luke adds, “I’ve been wanting to work with Linney for a while now, her voice has this emotional fire that draws you in. After I heard her on “Act of God”, I asked for a spoken-word vocal. She sent me the a cappella for “Gasoline” and I could fully unleash my Dutch versus Blog House energy onto it. The track locked in and has been igniting my dance floors.”
'Gasoline' is a high-energy bass house track featuring Linney’s fierce vocals layered over pounding low-end and siren-laced synths. Designed for peak-time club moments, the song blends empowering lyrics with gritty production.
