IMANU unveils new single “Bleak” (feat. A Girl Named Sue) on Deadbeats ahead of ADE Mixmag performance

Following his Entangled EP, Amsterdam-born producer IMANU returns with “Bleak” featuring A Girl Named Sue. Out via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats, the track fuses emotive melodies, cinematic textures, and fierce breakbeats, balancing beauty and intensity in a way that’s become signature to his sound.

At just 24, IMANU has grown from a teenage prodigy into one of Europe’s most forward-thinking electronic artists. His music blurs the line between club energy and emotional storytelling, channeling both chaos and calm. That vision lies at the heart of De Verte, his conceptual project and event series that merges sound, design, and community, a space where nature, personal evolution, and sonic experimentation converge.

“Bleak” continues to redefine the emotional possibilities of bass music, merging introspection with power and melody with menace. The single arrives ahead of his upcoming Asia tour and De Verte showcase at ADE 2025, part of the Mixmag Lab series to be filmed and recorded live.

From commanding stages at EDC, Shambhala, Lollapalooza, and Boomtown, to headlining venues like Red Rocks and Melkweg, IMANU’s reach continues to expand. Bleak reaffirms his commitment to pushing boundaries, transforming electronic music into something cinematic, raw, and deeply human.
