EXIT Festival expands to Montenegro with two events as part of 2026 World Tour

EXIT Festival is set to host two major events in Montenegro this summer as part of its World Tour 2026 and a significant expansion of the brand’s international programme.

The initiative, titled EXIT to Montenegro, aims to support the country’s tourism sector and contribute to the growth of its creative industries.

The first event is scheduled for early July on Long Beach in Ulcinj, a 13-kilometre stretch of coastline known for its natural landscape. The location will host a large-scale music gathering during the traditional EXIT festival weekend.

The programme will also see the return of Sea Dance Festival in Budva. This edition is planned as a free-entry event, marking a notable shift in accessibility for a festival of this scale. Previous editions have featured international acts across electronic and live music.

Dušan Kovačević, CEO and Founder of EXIT Festival group, says, “Montenegro is one of Europe's best-kept secrets. With its stunning nature and vibrant Adriatic coastline, it has everything it takes to become a landmark destination for a new generation of travelers who live for combining world-class holidays with unforgettable live music experiences. EXIT was built on the belief that music and freedom go hand in hand, and we are delighted to bring this spirit to this beautiful country, building a lasting legacy together.”

Milojko Spajić, Prime Minister of Montenegro, says: “The EXIT to Montenegro project will bring two major festivals to our country, making Montenegro an epicentre of the global music scene this summer and delivering exceptional international promotion for our coastline. The festivals will welcome visitors from more than 100 countries, generating at least 210,000 overnight stays and over €40 million in tourism revenue in 2026.”

The Montenegro events form part of EXIT’s broader international growth strategy, which includes festivals and projects across multiple countries. The brand has previously staged events in locations such as Croatia, Malta and Egypt, continuing to build its presence beyond its origins in Serbia.
