Eoin DJ Joins Big Saldo’s Chunkers with New EP ‘Pure U’
The Irish producer delivers the ninth release on Sally C’s imprint, featuring a standout remix by Jennifer Loveless.
Sally C continues to grow the Big Saldo’s Chunkers universe by welcoming talented Irish producer Eoin DJ to the fold. The Berlin-based, Galway-born artist presents the ‘Pure U’ EP, a collection of high-vibration dancefloor cuts set for full release on April 23rd, with the lead single "Track Like" available now for streaming.
The EP kicks off with "Track Like," a straight-up "Chunker" marked by a pumping house groove and a ravey vocal that drives the production into peak-time territory. Industry favorite Jennifer Loveless joins the release with a maximalist, funky re-rub of the lead track, turning the attitude up to eleven. Meanwhile, the title track "Pure U" is driven by fat kicks and euphoric chords, and "Feel Deeper" rounds out the package by channeling 90s New York house and circuit sounds.
"I loved the label already, so I was super stoked when Sally asked me to do a release. Chunkers is always so on-point," says Eoin DJ, who has previously released on esteemed labels like Planet Euphorique. Sally C, a long-time fan of Eoin’s ability to weave emotion into heavy grooves, adds: "It’s been a pleasure working on this EP—I’ve been endlessly rinsing all the tracks." Joining a curated roster that includes Eliza Rose, Cromby, and Papa Nugs, Eoin DJ cements BSC’s reputation as a premier destination for high-energy house music.
