Ella Hox: Hard Techno Revelation
Ghost in the Shell never sounded this brutal.

The bleached punk doll of Hard Techno is back, and this time she’s digging straight into cybernetic mythology. Ella Hox drops an industrial reimagining of Kenji Kawai’s legendary Making of Cyborg from the original Ghost in the Shell soundtrack (1995), out October 3 on Punk or Die. It’s a violent, spiritual trip, a ritual in kicks and choirs that pushes club culture into the shadows of dystopia.
“I made this track as violent as spiritual because that’s what it really is,” Ella explains. “We put souls into machines, trying to beat the inevitable, trying to cheat death and play at being gods. We want control. But who are we to believe machines can’t feel as deep as we do? Maybe we’re already in a simulation.”

Technically, the cut fuses scorched-earth industrial percussion with saturated kicks, while ethereal choirs and eerie pads conjure the feeling of a techno mass. The drop feels like the birth of a machine, violent yet exalted. More than a remix, it’s a sensory statement that honors one of anime’s most iconic soundtracks.
And she’s not slowing down. On October 10, Ella teams up with Italian Frenchcore titans The Sickest Squad for Exstasy, a brutal collision of genres released via Crazy Tower Records and distributed by Warner Music Italia. Ella’s own vocals cut through the mix, twisting Frenchcore energy into something darker, more seductive. The track will later appear on 20 Years of The Sickest Squad, marking a milestone for both acts.

Closing the month, on October 31, comes Vampire Rave, a blood-dripping original set to tear through the hardest stages.
Ella Hox is already one of the few female producers signed to the upper echelon of Hard Techno labels, Revised Records, TX, DSR, and now she’s stepping further into the hardcore and Frenchcore underground. Asia tour dates are coming, heavyweight collabs are locked, and October looks like the month she takes no prisoners.
