El Silencio Ibiza launches Urusai Sunset Bar, the Island’s first audiophile vinyl bar

El Silencio Ibiza has announced the launch of Urusai Sunset Bar, the island’s first dedicated audiophile venue. Opening on June 13, 2025, Urusai offers a vinyl-focused listening experience inspired by Japan’s jazz kissa culture combined with elements of Balearic musical heritage.

Located on the island’s west coast at Cala Molí, Urusai will be open daily from sunset into the night. The venue is centered around curated, vinyl-only DJ sets spanning a wide range of genres with programming led by Jaime Fiorito, son of Balearic music pioneer DJ Alfredo.

Urusai is equipped with a custom-built sound system, designed to deliver high-fidelity audio in an intimate environment. The setup includes handcrafted coaxial speakers made from Baltic birch plywood, with each speaker individually amplified to maintain tonal accuracy and clarity and a hybrid analogue-digital mixer.

The space was designed by Kulapat Yantrasast of WHY Architecture, whose past projects include work with the Musée du Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The bar’s interior features minimalist design and a central sculptural element, which is intended to encourage focused listening and social connection.

Urusai Izakaya will offer a Japanese-inspired food and drink menu led by chefs Taku Yuji Mikurya and Romain Littière and dishes such as red prawn soba, Ibizan vegetable tempura and toro sando, paired with natural wines, small-batch sake and specialty cocktails.
