Decibel Open Air Announces 2023 Lineup Featuring Moderat (live), I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler and more
Decibel Open Air is back in Florence from 9-10 September 2023, after the recently sold out Easter Edition and last year’s event gathering fifty thousand attendees, with thirty percent coming outside of Italy, the legendary electronic festival is revealing the first names of their incredible lineup.
Decibel Open Air 2023 offers some of the best of the electronic music acts with Moderat (live), Paul Kalkbrenner (live), Peggy Gou, Amelie Lens, Salmo (live), Lazza (live), Boris Brejcha, Loco Dice B2b Jamie Jones, Camelphat, Meduza, I Hate Models, Folamour, WhoMadeWho, Nico Moreno, Trym, 999999999, Indira Paganotto, Charlie Sparks, Klangkuenstler, Anfisa Letyago, Adiel, Daria Kolosova, Raven, Amémé, Honey Luv, Brina Knauss, Luca Agnelli, Dov'è Liana, Pôngo, Mattia Trani, Speaking Mind and many others. A huge line up with the greatest live and DJ sets, an excellent mix of techno and house and other eclectic sounds.
Paul Kalkbrenner comes back to Decibel Open Aor for the third time. Coming from the golden age of techno and turning twelve when the Berlin Wall fell, he spent his teenage years raving, before starting to DJ and collect records as electronic dance music’s first tidal wave spilled throughout the city. He realized early that DJing wasn’t for him, and has focused on producing and playing his own music live ever since.
Sitting somewhere between Detroit, London and Berlin in sound, Peggy Gou’s Dj sets are an assured, kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions.
Decibel Open Air is going to be very much strengthened thanks to a huge line up and many novelties. Most of all, a new location: an area of over hundred thousand square meters, able to improve services and logistics. All the details will be revealed very soon.
