Dam Swindle Curate A Ten-Track Compilation Of Heist’s Biggest Anthem
'Anthems Vol.1’ arrives mid-summer and features tracks from Cinthie, DJ Sneak, Fouk and more
Dam Swindle's Heist Recordings announce ‘Anthems Vol.1’ an essential ten-track compilation of the label’s biggest anthems just in time for summer. The compilation is packed with some of Heist’s best-loved jams from artists like Cinthie, DJ Sneak, and Dam Swindle amongst others, and is a superb collection for DJs and dancers looking for peak-time pandemonium.
The catchy piano loops of Cinthie’s hit ‘Piano Heaven’ opens up before ravey vocals and Detroit-esque strings define Fouk’s mammoth track ‘Mirage’. Next up, Dam Swindle’s own 2023 hit ‘That’s Right’ sounds as good as ever with its vast brass section and epic trumpet solo and has long been championed by the likes of Folamour in his latest Boiler Room set, as well as Honey Dijon and Nightmares on Wax. DJ Sneak represents Chicago with the signature loopy dreaminess of ‘Full Cycle’ followed by Amy Dabbs’ emotive House delight ‘Crush’.
This trip through the Heist catalogue then takes in the soulful sounds of Dutch duo Makèz as they deliver the undercover bomb ‘Feel The Same’ and Crackazat with his kaleidoscopic remix of Orlando Voorn’s ‘Be With You’, which has been a staple in Dam Swindle’s sets since its release. Next comes the label debut of Jkriv & Peter Matson with their ‘Bigtime’, the title cut and go-to dancefloor anthem of their EP, before Demuir’s Midwest-inspired roller ‘The 3nity Returneth (Dub Mix)’ and Nebraska’s wild disco-gone-French house track ‘Dip and Flip’ complete the package in spectacular fashion.
