Chris Lake teases debut album with new single ‘Savana’

Chris Lake's new single ‘Savana’ is out now on his Black Book Records imprint and is the third track from his upcoming debut album, Chemistry, scheduled for release on 11 July.

‘Savana’ is a big, energetic sound from Lake that embodies what he does best. During his recent tour in Australia, it was dropped plenty of times to great reactions including during a surprise back-to-back set with FISHER in Sydney and at the Out 2 Lunch Festival.

Says Chris, “Savana works in multiple situations, it’s the kind of track that hits at a festival, but you wouldn’t mind hearing it on the radio either. I love when I can balance on that edge between what makes people move on the dancefloor and what resonates in a more casual setting. It’s been fun to test the song in my set, and I have a feeling it’s only going to become more prominent.

Following previous singles such as ‘Ease My Mind’ with Abel Balder, which topped the ARIA Club Charts, and ‘In My Head’ featuring Amber Mark, ‘Savana’ continues the momentum leading into Lake’s debut album and reflects his evolving style.

To mark the album release, Chris Lake is hosting a special event at Brooklyn Storehouse in New York City on July 11th. Due to high demand, a second show has been added for July 12th, with tickets available now.
