Chippy Nonstop releases double a-side single 'Famous' on HARD Recs
Chippy Nonstop has released a new two-track single 'Famous' on HARD Recs.
Chippy Nonstop, born Chhavi Nanda, is a DJ, producer, and activist known for being a true party starter. Born in Dubai, raised in Zambia and the US, then deported before landing in Toronto she has performed across the world at cult places like Panorama Bar and SXSX.
Next to music, she founded Intersessions, a workshop series aimed at addressing gender disparity in the music industry by teaching DJ and production skills to women and LGBTQ+ individuals.
This new release features two tracks that explore themes of fame, identity and nightlife. The first delves into the allure and contradictions of fame, while the second, 'Talk Shit' offers a high-energy celebration of nightlife.
