AlphaTheta has unveiled the CDJ-3000X, a professional player designed for today’s hybrid DJ landscape. It combines traditional USB playback with streaming services and cloud libraries, all accessible through built-in Wi-Fi® and instant rekordbox login via NFC.
The unit debuts a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen with improved resolution and smoother navigation, enabling DJs to display up to 16 tracks, copy/paste searches and reorder playlists on the fly. A new Global Tag List brings music from USBs, streaming platforms and the cloud into one unified view.
Durability has been a core focus: Play and Cue buttons are rebuilt to withstand over 500,000 additional presses, while the jog wheel offers a wider tension range for both precise scratching and long sets. Even if internet or USB connections drop, a cache system ensures tracks keep playing until the end.
With a redesigned ESS DAC and upgraded power supply, the CDJ-3000X delivers richer lows and a more refined sound profile. Retail price is set at €2,799 including VAT.
