Boris: Barcelona’s New 250-Capacity Club Bringing Intimacy Back to the Underground

Barcelona’s nightlife is about to evolve with the arrival of Boris, a 250-capacity club redefining the city’s underground scene through intimacy, sound, and atmosphere. Created by the team behind KU Barcelona, Opium, Bling Bling, and Bastian Beach, Boris marks Costa Este’s first new opening since 2018 and a bold step toward more music-focused, community-driven experiences.

Located in the Upper Barcelona district, the venue has been completely redesigned as an intimate space built around connection and sound. With custom acoustics, a d&b audiotechnik system, and a minimalist interior by design studio Futur2, Boris blends warm textures, rich tones, and precise lighting to create an immersive, sensory environment where the focus remains on music.

Programming will span techno, deep house, afro-house, melodic, tech, Afrobeat, and amapiano, curating selectors who thrive in close, high-energy settings and value the emotional charge of smaller spaces. The goal: to nurture a real community of underground music lovers.

Boris will open Thursday to Saturday, from 11:59 PM to 5 AM on Thursdays (ages 23+) and until 6 AM on weekends (ages 27+), offering a late-night refuge for those who chase authentic club experiences.
