Awakenings Festival announces second wave of artists for its 2026 edition
Awakenings Festival has revealed the second wave of artists set to play its 2026 edition, further expanding the scope of one of techno’s most influential festivals. The announcement follows an already strong first wave featuring Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Pegassi, Adrián Mills, Kettama, Rødhåd, 999999999 and I Hate Models.
New additions to the lineup include DJ Gigola x Funk Tribu, Cynthia Spiering x Reinier Zonneveld (live), Azyr, Bad Boombox, Dax J, DJ Rush, Mahmut Orhan x Shimza, Pan-Pot, Josh Baker, Cloonee, Grace Dahl, and more, reinforcing Awakenings’ commitment to showcasing both established heavyweights and emerging forces across the techno spectrum.
Set to take place from July 10–12 in Hilvarenbeek, the newly announced names further define the musical range of Awakenings Festival 2026. From the driving, no-frills techno of Dax J, Bart Skils and DJ Rush to the harder, high-energy sounds of Azyr, Grace Dahl and Cynthia Spiering x Reinier Zonneveld (live), the second wave adds weight across multiple corners of the scene. Artists such as Cloonee, Josh Baker and Mahmut Orhan x Shimza introduce a more groove-focused and crossover approach, while Pan-Pot and Novah lean into darker, hypnotic territories.
Collaborative projects continue to play a central role, with pairings such as Chlär x Yanamaste, DJ Gigola x Funk Tribu, Franck x Upper90 and Jamback x Marsolo highlighting Awakenings’ ongoing interest in shared formats and creative dialogue. Bad Boombox and Serafina round out the second wave, adding further momentum to the 2026 lineup.
Together with the previously announced artists, the second wave reflects the full range of Awakenings Festival 2026, bringing together melodic, hypnotic, hard, industrial and experimental strains of techno, all grounded in the genre’s unmistakable four-to-the-floor foundation.
Beyond the music, Awakenings Festival remains defined by its setting and atmosphere. Each summer, Hilvarenbeek becomes a global meeting point for techno fans, with carefully designed stages, high-end production and a festival site that blends music with nature. Forest dance floors, open fields and a lakeside campsite with beach areas and swimming spots provide the backdrop for a weekend that extends far beyond the stages.
The final wave of artists will be announced at the end of January, completing the full lineup for Awakenings Festival 2026.
