Artist spotlight: Bora Uzer
Bora Uzer returns to pacha ibiza for another transformative summer at Flower Power

When Bora Uzer takes the stage at Flower Power this summer, he’s not just performing—he’s coming home. The Turkish multi-instrumentalist is known for his genre-defying sound and deeply intuitive live sets and returns with more of them this summer as resident DJ at one of Ibiza’s most iconic and enduring parties. Running from 7 June to 30 August, with a final show on 4 October, this season’s Flower Power at Pacha Ibiza promises to be its most soulful yet, and Uzer will always be right at its beating heart.
“Returning to Flower Power feels like coming home to a world that understands the language I speak, where colours have sounds, and sounds have feelings,” Uzer says. “It’s another year of creating and performing together with other artists. Flower Power is a space where I don’t need to edit myself.”
Uzer is a trained jazz musician and self-styled sonic storyteller whose approach is all about the moment. For him, Flower Power isn't about curated perfection—it's about presence. “I am not seeking perfection, I am seeking real unfiltered moments where we’re all just human in a shared space,” he reflects. “When you come and experience it, you will understand that it’s about that specific moment in time when we’re all co-existing in the same space.”
One of those “unfiltered moments” he recalls is sharing the booth with house legend Barbara Tucker: “We started singing together - creating a beautiful, raw and real moment, elevating the whole show; you could see how captivated and present the audience was. There were hundreds of little moments like this throughout the summer.”
The lineups this year match the scale of the celebration with legends like Boy George, Roger Sanchez, The London Community Gospel Choir and Sophie Ellis-Bextor just some of the artists joining Uzer under the iconic Pacha cherries.
One night in particular, 14 June, will see Uzer perform alongside the London Community Gospel Choir, an idea sparked years ago in London with the group’s former drummer, Leon. “We worked together on ‘Rather Be,’ which was definitely a summer hit on the dancefloor last year. People absolutely loved it, so I figured we could try and do it again live at Pacha Ibiza this time.”
At Flower Power, music is more than a soundtrack, it’s a portal to new worlds of self-expression and release, but Uzer resists defining it too narrowly in genre-terms. “I don’t play styles, I play music... I play music that allows people to dance and have a great time.” For him, labels are irrelevant: what matters is freedom, energy, and connection. “I never perform two shows the same way, so fans can expect to have a great time and listen to good music. No labels, no judgement.”
This philosophy runs deeper than the DJ booth. “Living in the moment is all we have. Now is everything. Freedom is everything. Love is everything. Peace is everything.” As the world shifts, Uzer believes Flower Power offers more than escapism—it offers healing. “We need ways to feel lighter and connect and that is what my aim is with Flower Power.”
Beyond the white island, Uzer hints at more to come including the possible debut of his OJO parties—a 360-degree immersive experience reflective of his vision. For now, though, all roads lead to Pacha. With Bora Uzer behind the decks, every night is a chance to feel something special
