AR/CO Release "Sound of the Sunrise" with Sistek

Electronic music duo AR/CO release their new single "Sound of the Sunrise" alongside Sistek, on November 14th via Helix Records. The collaboration pairs the British-Australian duo with the Latin Grammy-nominated Chilean producer, creating a track that showcases AR/CO's signature vocals alongside Sistek's blend of Latin and Afro-house influences.

The release arrives as UK based Mali-Koa and Leo Stannard transition from being the voices everyone knows to becoming the DJs everyone needs to watch. AR/CO have built their reputation through collaborations with some of dance music's biggest names. Their work includes "Ocean" with Fisher, "The Feeling" with Rudimental and PNAU, and contributions to the Grammy-nominated Kx5 album. They've also worked with Tiesto, Alan Walker, Marshmello, Hayden James, Sub Focus, and Gryffin across their career. Their breakout single "Hot Air Balloon" has accumulated over 100 million streams, while their catalog has reached 280+ million streams overall.

"Sound of the Sunrise" brings together AR/CO's established vocal presence with Sistek's production approach. The Chilean producer has earned support from Tiesto, BLOND:ISH, CamelPhat, Adriatique, Oliver Heldens, ARTBAT, and Vintage Culture, and has released official remixes for Karol G and Myke Towers. With over 1 million followers and performances at Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Creamfields, Sistek represents the growing presence of Latin electronic music on the global stage.

Sound of the Sunrise is a celebration of light, rhythm, and resilience, our soulful Afro-world anthem we created with our friend Sistek to honor the end of summer and the energy that lingers long after the sun sets. – AR/CO

Recent momentum has been undeniable. "Fire Fire" dominated streaming charts across 35+ countries on Spotify's Viral 50, hit #1 on Instagram’s Trending Audio Chart, #28 on Global Dance Shazam, and earned placements on Capital Dance and SiriusXM, demonstrating AR/CO's continued momentum in the commercial dance space.

AR/CO's sound exists at the intersection of indie electronic and mainstream dance music. Their Maori and Trinidadian heritage, combined with their British-Australian background, informs their approach to production and songwriting. They have joined Sub Focus during his BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend headline set to perform their Radio 1 Hottest Record "Vibration (One More Time)". They've also supported Kygo at Gunnersbury Park and The Chainsmokers at The Cause.

With more new music on the horizon for 2025 and a growing list of high-profile collaborations still to be announced, AR/CO are positioning themselves not as overnight successes but as established talents finally receiving proper recognition. They've already proven they can write the songs, now they're proving they can own the moment.
