ANOTR lend their vocals to alt-soul gem ‘care for you’

‘Care For You’, the fourth single from ANOTR’s eagerly awaited shroom-fueled album On A Trip, lands on January 10th via their label, No Art.
On ‘Care For You’, the Dutch duo weave together stunningly smooth alt-soul textures,enriched with lavish electric guitar riffs, their own balmy vocals, loose yet steady drum rhythms, and sweeping violin strings. The single highlights their bold embrace of live instrumentation, vocal experimentation, and genre exploration.
Written and recorded during psychedelic creative retreats in Ibiza, Los Angeles, and the Netherlands, ANOTR’s hotly-awaited On A Trip LP—coming January 31st—captures the duo’s artistic evolution. Fueled by micro-dosing psilocybin mushrooms, these retreats unlocked new creative pathways, leading to brave new sonic directions found in the likes of the krautrock-esque single ‘SET IT ON FIRE.’ Through On A Trip, ANOTR explore themes of self-discovery and connection, continuing the experimental sound they began on their 2022 debut, The Reset. “It’s the scariest thing we’ve ever done music-wise,” they admit, “but we had a lot of fun doing it.” This bold creative leap cements their reputation as innovators in electronic music, supported by their No Art label and multiple sold-out events worldwide.
