Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has wrapped up its 2026 edition, marking three decades since its inception in 1996. Bringing together nearly 4,000 performing artists across more than 300 venues, the anniversary celebration connected the global electronic music community through a multidisciplinary programme spanning club culture, contemporary art, innovation and industry development.

Highlights included Swan Lake Remixed for ADE, bringing together the Dutch National Ballet and ISH Dance Collective at Gashouder; Kybba's collaboration with the Metropole Orkest at Melkweg; and Boris Acket's multidisciplinary production EINDER, presented alongside the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at Centrale Markthal.

Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre joined as official Guest of Honour, taking part in discussions on artificial intelligence and spatial sound before delivering an audiovisual performance at AFAS Live. Meanwhile, ADE Lab expanded its educational initiatives with ADE Lab Discovery and ADE Lab On Track, while ADE and VibeLab introduced the first Nighttime Culture Index, examining the cultural vitality of nightlife worldwide.

After 30 years shaping the international electronic music landscape, ADE continues to serve as a meeting point for artists, industry professionals and communities. The organisation has now confirmed its return to Amsterdam for October 20–24, 2027.
