ADE Lab On Track Unveils Full 2026 Programme With Moodymann, Djrum, Bambii and More

The new three-day talent development programme brings together some of electronic music’s most influential figures for masterclasses, workshops and conversations at Amsterdam’s Westergas.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has revealed the complete programme for the inaugural edition of ADE Lab On Track, a three-day educational initiative designed to support the next generation of DJs, producers and electronic music professionals. Taking place at Lab Village in Westergas during ADE 2026, the programme brings together established artists and emerging talent through a series of hands-on workshops, masterclasses and industry conversations.

Among the latest additions are Bambii, Daria Kolosova, Djrum and John Talabot, joining an already extensive roster featuring Moodymann, Grace Dahl, Adam Beyer, Sammy Virji and Kevin Saunderson. With community, collaboration and creative development at its core, ADE Lab On Track aims to connect aspiring artists directly with some of the figures shaping contemporary club culture.

From the DJ Booth to the Studio

One of the programme’s highlights sees Ukrainian DJ Daria Kolosova lead Beyond Genre: Building a DJ Set, a practical masterclass exploring how to construct a compelling musical narrative across different genres and tempos. Using live CDJ demonstrations, Kolosova will examine everything from track selection and transitions to reading a dancefloor and adapting a performance in real time.

British producer and DJ Djrum will bring his distinctive approach to mixing to a live edition of DJ Mag’s How I DJ. Known for moving effortlessly between musical styles, Djrum will explore vinyl techniques, improvisation and the creative decisions behind his unpredictable sets.

Meanwhile, Canadian DJ and producer Bambii will lead From Playing to Producing: Production 101, an introductory workshop covering the fundamentals of music production. From navigating digital audio workstations to transforming initial ideas into finished tracks, the session is designed to make production more accessible, with FLINTA+ artists particularly encouraged to participate.

Conversations With Electronic Music’s Pioneers

Beyond the technical workshops, ADE Lab On Track will also offer an opportunity to explore the creative philosophies and experiences of established artists.

Spanish producer John Talabot will join Resident Advisor’s Chloe Lula for a live edition of RA Exchange, discussing his creative process and his first full-length album in 14 years. Released under his OR alias, Music for Empty Stadiums marks a departure into ambient territory, comprising 17 largely beatless compositions.

Another anticipated conversation brings together Detroit house icon Moodymann and Chicago multi-instrumentalist Peven Everett for an in-depth exchange about their musical journeys and creative approaches.

Elsewhere, Grace Dahl will challenge conventional approaches to DJing, Adam Beyer will reflect on three decades of Drumcode, and Sammy Virji will break down his production process in a dedicated DJ Mag session.

The wider speaker programme also includes DJ Bone, Jyoty, Amy Dabbs, Lyzza, Rossi., Paige Tomlinson, Zack Fox and numerous other artists and industry figures.

Building the Next Generation of Club Culture

The launch of ADE Lab On Track arrives as Amsterdam Dance Event celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of connecting the artists, communities and businesses that have helped electronic music develop into a global cultural force.

This year’s ADE Lab offering is divided into two distinct programmes. While ADE Lab On Track provides a structured curriculum exclusively for accepted participants, ADE Lab Discovery offers a more accessible experience through open sessions, equipment demonstrations, the Gear Test Lab and cultural activities.

By placing established artists in direct conversation with emerging talent, ADE Lab On Track reflects a broader commitment to supporting the future of electronic music beyond the dancefloor.

ADE 2026 takes place from October 21 to 25 across Amsterdam, with more than 3,600 artists expected to participate in over 1,300 events throughout the city.

ADE Lab On Track is a closed programme available exclusively to accepted participants and is not accessible to general ADE pass holders.

The complete programme and further information are available through the official Amsterdam Dance Event website.
