2025 Summer festival line-ups reflect the impact of European Talent Exchange

As the 2025 summer festival season gets underway, the influence of the European Talent Exchange Programme (ETEP) is already evident in the line-ups of its partner festivals across the continent.

Following this year’s edition of ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), artists who participated are seeing significant international exposure with 110 acts from 29 countries scheduled to perform a total of 240 shows across 77 festivals in 30 countries.

Festivals such as Sziget (Hungary), Roskilde (Denmark), Paléo Festival Nyon (Switzerland), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Mad Cool (Spain), and Reeperbahn (Germany) are among the many integrating ESNS alumni into their 2025 programming. The trend is also extending beyond Europe, with Coachella (USA) featuring some of these emerging European artists.

Names gaining traction this year include Luvcat (UK, 9 bookings), Big Special (UK, 7), Cliffords (Ireland, 8), Sylvie Kreusch (Belgium, 7), Boko Yout (Sweden, 5), Judeline (Spain, 4), Carpetman (Ukraine, 4), and Woomb (Bulgaria, 4), among others. These acts represent a growing wave of diverse talent crossing borders and genres, supported by the visibility ESNS and ETEP provide.

All artists who perform at ESNS are automatically enrolled in the European Talent Exchange, enabling their exposure to a wide network of partner festivals.

Festival organisers and fans can track bookings and activity through the ESNS Radar platform here.
