NO ART FESTIVAL
24 JUNE 2023 - FLEVOPARK AMSTERDAM
After the success of the first edition of the No Art Festival at the NDSM wharf last year, visitors will once again be treated to an unforgettable and unique experience this year, where art and music take center stage. On June 24th, No Art will transform Amsterdam's Flevopark into a true house and techno mecca, featuring a special lineup of the world's greatest artists and emerging talents, whose identities are normally kept strictly secret.
"Our goal is not just to organize events, but to provide visitors with a complete musical and artistic experience. We aim to offer our attendees unforgettable days, which they will share with their friends or even strangers afterwards. All our events feature a special lineup, combining established names and emerging talent, which holds great importance for us. Normally, we only reveal this lineup at the last minute, but for this special edition, we wanted to share our excitement with all the fans," says No Art.
No Art Festival is one of the few Dutch festivals to have secured international star Peggy Gou as the headliner for this summer. She will be joined by none other than ANOTR, Moodymann, Astra Club (Carlita + DJ Tennis), TOMAN, Mateo Dufour b2b Alci, Deniro, Nedda Sou, and tINI b2b Shonky at Flevopark in Amsterdam on June 24th.
In addition to the No Art Festival, the organization once again highlights their passion for art through the Synergy Festival on June 23rd, in collaboration with their own Synergy Foundation. Friday, June 23rd, will be dedicated entirely to various art forms, providing a platform for both emerging and established international artists, curated by the renowned Bogomir Doringer. The event will feature prominent artists such as Yoann Bourgeois, Arno Schuitemaker, Cherella Gessel, SMACK, Dries Verhoeven, Conservatorium Amsterdam, Leeza Pritychenko, and Lena Kuzmich, among others. The program will include art workshops, digital art installations, live art performances, and a highly anticipated surprise from No Art, which will be revealed later.
The Synergy Festival offers free admission for children up to the age of 12, individuals who have applied for asylum in the Netherlands, and visitors with an Amsterdam City Pass. Additionally, No Art will distribute flyers to residents around the Flevopark, granting them free access to the festival. Students are required to pay an entrance fee of 5 euros, while other visitors will be charged an entrance fee of 10 euros.
Synergy Festival is an experimental playground for emerging artists and disciplines. I’m especially proud that it’s a festival made affordable to everyone. With the festival, we want to provide a stage for young makers and creators, challenging the norms, while engaging with the visitors and community through traditional participatory workshops. These young creators and makers will get the chance to expose their art physically, as well as digitally through a 18 meter LED screen, broadening the mind of all visitors," says Synergy Festival curator Bogomir Doringer.
